At a pick and pull ,or you pull it yard you pay a small admission charge ,usually 2$ or so..to look around the yard.You bring your own tools

If you see a part you want you use your own tools [and friends?] to pull the parts you want and carry them in a wheelbarrow or cart up to the office where you pay a real low price and check out.

If it is a heavy part,the yard will usually carry it out on a forklift for you after you have removed it
